Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional to join the NT Health team as a Nurse/Midwife Management Consultant. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and guidance on service planning and delivery to multi-disciplinary clinicians across a defined practice area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a recognised reference point and consistent broad level of influence regarding service planning and delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes
- Collaborate with clinicians and other stakeholders to identify and address service gaps and opportunities
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to support service improvement
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, midwifery, public health)
- Proven experience in service planning and delivery, clinical leadership, and service development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
