About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a professional home care attendant, providing essential cleaning services to Aged Care and NDIS clients in their own homes on a regular basis. As a result, you will establish strong relationships with your clients and enjoy a predictable schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize client homes, including rooms, restrooms, and kitchen areas, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Use specialized equipment and supplies to effectively clean and disinfect surfaces, floors, and other areas.
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners, maintaining a tidy and organized environment.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, adhering to established protocols.
  • Transport dirty linens to the laundry room and restock rooms with clean linens, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
  • Follow sanitation guidelines and adhere to health and safety standards, prioritizing the well-being of clients and colleagues alike.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • A reliable vehicle and the ability to travel between client homes during shifts.
  • A mobile phone with internet access, facilitating efficient communication and task management.
  • A current police clearance and an ABN (Australian Business Number), demonstrating your commitment to professionalism and legitimacy.
  • No less than 12 months of house cleaning experience, with additional training provided as needed.
  • Triple COVID-19 vaccination is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Availability of at least 3-5 days per week, between Monday and Friday, with a focus on daytime hours.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and experience working with domestic cleaning support to Aged Care and NDIS clients in their home, although not essential.
Compensation and Benefits:

You can expect a competitive hourly rate of $30 per hour, plus superannuation, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation and employee welfare.
