About the Role:

As an Adult Speech Pathologist with Plena Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive speech pathology services to adults living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your calendar of appointments to ensure efficient delivery of services
  • Conducting thorough assessments and diagnoses of clients' swallowing and communication difficulties
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Liaising with our close-knit national team of Speech Pathologists to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Providing consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional qualification in Speech Pathology with an active membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • An understanding of adult speech pathology principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
