About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Baker to join our award-winning bakery team at Coles. As a Retail Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our bakery department, contributing to the creation of high-quality baked goods and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About You

  • Trade Certification or Diploma: A formal qualification in baking is preferred, demonstrating your expertise in the trade.
  • Extensive baking experience: Particularly in a fast-paced bakery environment, where you'll be able to showcase your skills and passion for baking.
  • Food safety and hygiene knowledge: You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring our customers receive safe and quality products.
  • Customer Obsession: Our customers are at the heart of what we do. You'll be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer leaves our bakery satisfied.
  • Passion for Quality and Consistency: You'll take pride in every loaf you deliver, ensuring consistency and quality in every product.
  • Mentorship and Team Support: As a team player, you'll be expected to coach and support other team members in honing their craft, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
