Kinetic, a leading bus operator in Australia and New Zealand, is committed to achieving a diverse workforce. We are excited to introduce the Women Up Front program, a unique opportunity for women in Tasmania to become trainee bus drivers.
About the Role:
We are seeking individuals who possess outstanding customer service skills and a passion for working with people. As a trainee bus driver, you will undergo comprehensive training and support to become a confident, licensed bus driver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a welcoming and supportive work environment
- Complete a comprehensive induction program featuring classroom and on-road training
- Obtain a Medium Rigid (MR) licence
- Receive competitive pay throughout the training period
Requirements:
- Valid Australian car driver's license (held for at least two years)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional test, drug and alcohol screening, and obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Vulnerable People's Check
- Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
