SalaryWe offer a competitive salary package, with an estimated annual salary of $150,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications as a Medical Practitioner.
This permanent full-time position comes with 37.5 hours per week, offering a great work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary clinic team, working together to deliver comprehensive, holistic, culturally appropriate primary health care services.
- Actively participate in the delivery of quality primary, emergency, and related health services and programs;
- Pursue and participate in initiatives such as GPMP/TCA, Adult Health Checks, Child Health Checks, GP Management Plans, and Team Care Plans;
- Work effectively within an Aboriginal primary health care setting, leveraging advanced clinical skills and competencies;
- Liaise with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrate understanding of applicable accreditation standards, including RACGP;
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all aspects of the role.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a relevant qualification and registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner;
- Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of comprehensive primary health care and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services;
- Have primary health care experience with advanced clinical skills and competencies needed to work effectively within an Aboriginal primary health care setting;
- Be aware of the issues affecting the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people, including social determinants of health;
- Exhibit highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrate commitment to confidentiality and a high level of accuracy;
- Work effectively as a member of a team in an environment of competing priorities.
