- Balance Sheet Management: Ensure accurate reconciliation and management of balance sheet accounts, addressing discrepancies and improving financial controls.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with all tax-related obligations, including GST, FBT, income tax, and other reporting requirements.
- System and Process Improvements: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process enhancements, to streamline financial operations and reporting.
- Special Projects and M&A Exposure: Contribute to special projects such as post-acquisition integration, system integrations, and support potential M&A activities.
- CA/CPA qualified, with at least 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical accounting expertise.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights.
- Proven experience in managing month-end close processes, cash flow management, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
- A great attitude with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
- Experience working in both professional services (audit/corporate finance) and industry/commercial finance roles.
- Exposure to international consolidation and tax reporting.
