We are seeking a HSE Administrator to support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors. The successful candidate will work on major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities in the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka), and the RAAF Base Wagga.

• Communicate safety requirements to subcontractors onsite.
• Review subcontractor safety interview questionnaires and verify their capability to deliver work tasks to agreed safety standards.
• Track progress against role and responsibility profiles and report on activities to the project leadership team.
• Maintain regular visibility across the workplace, building relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Build awareness of a safety culture among the project management team and contribute to its development.
• Support the project team to consider safety requirements throughout project planning and delivery and implement appropriate safety controls.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and company policies and processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Government Security Clearance (Australian citizen).
• An Advanced Diploma in Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in an administration role.
• Knowledge of project risk management controls and actions.
• Knowledge of auditing, safety inspections, and compliance reporting procedures and processes.
• Experience in document compliance procedures and processes and understanding of technology to support SHE (Q) systems.
• Knowledge of incident management and reporting involving multiple internal and external parties.
• Recent previous experience working as a Safety Administrator in the civil construction industry.
