Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Newcastle, New South Wales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting avionic systems and components.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Avionics or equivalent, and experience working with Defence Aircraft. You will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a fast-paced team environment.

About this role:

  • Maintain, inspect and undertake fault diagnosis of avionic systems and components
  • Ensure maintenance performance meets all regulatory and airworthiness requirements
  • Record details of work performed on relevant documents
  • Report defects, deficiencies and unserviceability's as they arise
