About the Role

The Johns Lyng Group is seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our Large Loss team. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator to provide excellent delivery of projects.
  • Review and understand project scopes and plans, ensuring that works are delivered in line with expectations.
  • Engage and manage trades and suppliers, providing accurate and clear communication to ensure works are completed ahead of schedule.
  • Provide regular project updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders, ensuring that KPIs are met.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Review and monitor project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and reported accurately.
  • Quality control of all works undertaken on site.

Requirements

  • Experience supervising construction projects, preferably in the insurance building sector.
  • Carpentry/Building Trade qualification preferred.
  • QBCC Site Supervisor License and Construction White Card.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • High work ethics, proactive nature, and keen to work within a highly successful, KPI-driven team.
  • Computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Understanding of WHS practices, legislation, regulations, and current market rates.
  • Current motor vehicle license.

Selection Criteria

  • Experience supervising construction projects.
  • Carpentry/Building Trade qualification preferred.
  • QBCC Site Supervisor License and Construction White Card.
  • Insurance building experience highly regarded, but not essential.
