The Role: Educator

This role involves working with a range of educators to care and educate children aged from 0-5, facilitating learning experiences and developing inspirational educational programs.

You will work collaboratively with fellow educators to create a stimulating environment for young learners, covering lunch breaks, sick days, and annual leave for permanent educators, and supporting them in the observation and recording of children's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Maintain open communication with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other educators to create engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children and staff members.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III / Diploma in ECEC or studying towards a qualification in Early Childhood.
  • A Paid Blue Card.
  • Basic food handling certificate.
  • Availability for at least 2 days, sometimes at short notice.
  • Willingness to travel 30+ minutes on a regular basis.
  • Passionate educators with strong communication skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work in new teams.
