Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our tax practice in a Corporate Tax role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple projects and clients, both autonomously and as a valued member of our team, collaborating with our global tax network.

The ideal candidate will have Australian corporate income tax experience, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or mid-tier accounting firm, with the ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct recommendations.

In this role, you will be central to helping clients understand complex tax legislation by providing advice on corporate tax matters. You will work within the team to deliver taxation services for allocated corporate clients, including corporate income tax compliance and the preparation and review of income tax returns.

As a Senior Consultant, you will also assist in the delivery of full-spectrum corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, including audits and ruling application processes.

You will be a point of contact for our clients, requiring collaboration with specialist teams to bring expertise to our corporate clients.

Additionally, you will supervise junior team members, fostering their learning and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Australian corporate income tax experience, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or mid-tier accounting firm;
  • The ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct recommendations;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven record training and delegating to junior staff;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex engagements;
  • Works well in a team and has a high attention to detail;

Ideally, you will also have CA qualifications or equivalent.
