Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Plan and deliver environmental approvals efficiently and effectively in Queensland and NSW jurisdictions, as well as under relevant Commonwealth legislation.
- Guide projects through implementation of approval and other legislative requirements to meet legal obligations.
- Work closely with Energy Business leaders to provide strategic thinking and advice on how to best position for winning and delivering early phase works on Energy projects.
- Articulate and follow through with a vision for the growth and development of environment services in the Energy Business.
This is an opportunity to join our environmental teams in QLD or NSW, bringing a strong track record in advising and delivering state (QLD and/or NSW) and Commonwealth approvals for onshore renewable energy projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications.
- 20+ years of relevant industry experience within a consulting business environment.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup's related procedures including OH&S.
