About the Position

The Shire of Esperance is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join its Development Services team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that building services meet statutory requirements and codes.

Responsibilities

  • Process building applications within statutory timeframes, providing quality customer service
  • Provide technical and statutory advice to stakeholders
  • Conduct inspections of buildings and pool safety barriers
  • Assist in the review and development of policies and procedures

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Formal qualification as a Building Surveyor Level 2
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
