We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality video content for broadcast and digital platforms.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for creating and editing engaging promotional content that showcases the WNBL's vision and values. This includes producing video packages for broadcast coverage, developing platform-optimised content for social media channels, and working closely with broadcast partners to deliver on creative briefs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create promotional content for broadcast coverage across digital and TV formats.
- Produce engaging video packages including openers and features for broadcast partners.
- Develop platform-optimised content for social media channels including Instagram and TikTok.
- Support WNBL Clubs' video production needs to enhance fan engagement.
- Work closely with broadcast partners to deliver on creative briefs.
- Collaborate with the media team to maintain high production standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in sports or digital media.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and the Creative Suite.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of broadcast video formats and delivery methods.
- Knowledge of digital and social media video trends.
- Experience with content management systems and metadata.
- Interest in basketball and understanding of sports terminology.
- Bachelor's degree in film production, Media, or related field (preferred).
