Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants to provide quality care to residents in a variety of shifts.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing direct care, support and guidance to residents in accordance with best practice. This will involve working closely with our Registered Nurses to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and daily living support to residents
  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving where required
  • Participating in recreational activities and programs to enhance resident engagement and well-being
  • Supporting residents with their daily routines and assisting with mobility as needed
Requirements
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Minimum of 6 months Aged Care experience
  • Flexibility to work available shifts on short notice
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with residents, families and team members
