Job Summary:
Gold Fields Australia is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Specialist to operate underground trucks in our Granny Smith operation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground trucks to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate underground trucks to achieve required production levels
- Ensure all pre-starts are completed and arrive fit for work for all rostered days
- Report all activities accurately to Pitram, including loading location and nature of material
- Hand over and provide technical support to the team
- Demonstrate excellent housekeeping standards
Requirements:
- Display operating underground trucks in an underground environment
- Have a sound understanding of machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment
- Valid manual driver's license
- Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights card desirable
- Apply First Aid Certification desirable
