**Learning Support Specialist Role Overview**

Our ideal candidate will be a dedicated team collaborator, showing initiative and holding a Certificate III or experience in an early learning years environment.

**Key Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum Planning & Delivery

  • Assist with the planning, preparation, and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students, including the use of technology and learning support activities.

**2. Student Progress Monitoring**

  • Monitor student progress and identify learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies.

**3. Supporting Diverse Learners**

  • Improve student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs.

**4. Collaboration & Intervention Groups**

  • Collaborate with school specialists in organizing and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services.

**5. Supervision & Documentation**

  • Supervise students on specific learning activities.
  • Document observation notes, intervention programs, and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.

**Requirements:

  • Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
  • Have a commitment to Safeguarding.
