">This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including media and communication, research and policy support, community engagement, and digital management.
">The successful Electorate Officer will provide exceptional services to the community while reporting directly to the Member of Parliament.
">Key aspects of this role include:
">- Media & Communications - Drafting and editing media releases, newsletters, and speeches; liaising with media outlets.">
- Research & Policy Support - Conducting research on local and state issues, preparing reports and briefings, tracking grants and government programs.">
- Community Engagement - Responding to constituent inquiries, supporting the Member at events, and maintaining strong local networks.">
- Digital & Social Media Management - Developing content, managing online platforms, tracking engagement, and refining outreach strategies.">
- Office Administration & Support - Overseeing office operations, managing correspondence and records, coordinating events, and supporting the Member's diary.
Requirements
">The ideal candidate will possess sound written and oral communication skills, excellent computer literacy, a commitment to providing client service, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
">Additionally, the successful applicant must demonstrate behaviours consistent with Electorate Officer values and Code of Conduct, including responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, and respect in relationships with others and decision-making.
