  • Providing safe and effective emergency care to patients who present to the Emergency Department;
  • Managing a wide range of medical conditions, including emergency cases that require immediate attention;

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information;
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in medical science.

  • Holding a relevant medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) and being currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia;
  • Having at least five years of postgraduate hospital experience;
  • Possessing advanced resuscitation skills for both adult and pediatric emergency medicine;
  • Demonstrating procedural skills, including ultrasound-guided insertion of central lines and arterial lines, thoracentesis, and thoracostomy placement;
  • Being able to manage shock, including inotropic support;
  • Exhibiting high-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
