Swimming Coach

As a skilled swim coach, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school-aged children. Your goal is to help them become confident and skilled swimmers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing structured lessons with activities that challenge and develop students' swimming and water safety abilities
- Identifying students who are ready for level progression and recommending them as appropriate
- Teaching and modeling effective problem-solving skills and conflict resolution techniques
This is a Casual role with a competitive hourly rate.
About YouWe are seeking an individual who is passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, respect, and enthusiasm. They will also demonstrate a passion for teaching children to swim and provide exceptional customer service to parents and students alike.
Essential QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety qualification (or the willingness to obtain before commencing)
- First Aid and CPR certificates (or the willingness to obtain before commencing)
