The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent Conveyor Maintenance to join our team in the Eastern Pilbara region. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing direct leadership to Supervisors and Technical Specialists, overseeing compliance with maintenance standards, procedures, systems, process, work instructions, and defined mastery verification process to achieve optimal performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety investigations and risk assessments and provide quality reviews.
  • Build capability through coaching, mentoring, and providing technical advice and support to your team of maintenance technicians.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coordination of mechanical maintenance and routine inspection activities of conveyors.
  • Working with multiple internal stakeholders and contract service partners in both baseload weekly and shutdown work.
  • Management of maintenance work strategies and performance metric reporting.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who has:

  • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using their influence.
  • The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships.
  • Experience or a fast learner with work management software tools (e.g. 1SAP).
  • Five years' experience in fixed plant maintenance or equivalent maintenance experience, with particular experience in fixed plant maintenance Conveyors.
  • Experience in detailed scoping and maintenance planning for multi-disciplined workgroups operating in a Fixed Plant Maintenance environment within conveyor Maintenance is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Minimum of C class manual drivers licence.
