Occupational Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated independent occupational therapist contractor to join us in making a positive community impact.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support participants with emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical challenges.

  1. Conduct assessments of participants' functions through clinical observations and standardized evaluations.
  2. Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  3. Provide individualized therapeutic interventions to promote independence and alleviate functional limitations.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate environmental adaptations in settings such as home, school, work, and residential facilities.
  5. Recommend assistive technology to support participants' daily activities and promote their overall well-being.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  1. Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  2. Experience working with NDIS participants.
  3. Relevant insurances including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  4. Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  5. An active ABN.
