Job Role Overview:
We are currently seeking skilled professionals to fill Traffic Controller positions in Melbourne.
As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for directing traffic safely and efficiently, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public. Key objectives include coordinating with colleagues, supervisors, and the public to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Directing traffic in line with established plans
- Setting up and dismantling roadwork sites as required
- Monitoring traffic flow and adjusting control measures when necessary
- Developing effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
Essential Requirements:
- Current Traffic Control/Management license
- White card certification
- Previous experience working as a Traffic Controller
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to adapt to varied schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
