Airport Fuel Operations Specialist

UGL Defence has been awarded a major fuel management contract with Defence. As a key member of our operations team in Darwin, NT, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and ground fuel installations.

This is a long-term opportunity to join a Tier 1 services provider on a unique contract within the defence sector.

The Roles

You will work under the supervision of an experienced Operations Supervisor, supporting a number of fuel installation sites in the NT - Darwin region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe and compliant operation and management of fuel installations.
  • Lead a small team of operators, managing quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.
  • Previous experience working in bulk fuel management or defence fuels is essential.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Defence specific training will be advantageous; however, this training will be provided where required.
  • Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded).
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything you do.
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, appropriate Defence Security Clearance.
  • Live locally or be willing to relocate to the Darwin region.
