Oil and Gas Maintenance Specialist Role

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Oil and Gas Maintenance Specialists. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a talented group of individuals.

As part of our growth, we have openings available for both on-site and remote workers. We require highly qualified individuals to maintain and operate oil and gas facilities safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe production operations and surveillance across multiple sites
  • Performing and leading frontline maintenance activities
  • Championing the permit to work process and complying with requirements
  • Managing site contractors and developing permits to work/JHA documents
  • Maintaining operational activity logs and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Undertaking testing to ensure final product meets specifications
  • Working on a flexible roster and attending callouts when required

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as an operator/maintainer in hydrocarbon, chemical or manufacturing industries
  • HR class driver's license
  • Certificate 3 or higher in Process Plant Operations with units in gas processing
  • Experience in Permit to Work systems as a Permit Authority
  • Good time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Packages
  • Demonstrated ability to start, stop, monitor, adjust and test processing systems in accordance with documented standards and procedures
