Salary

This role comes with a competitive salary package of AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and working closely with our Executive Chef to develop new menu concepts and ensure exceptional food quality.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu concepts and specials
  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food products that meet our standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels effectively
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A trade qualification in commercial cookery (Cert III or higher)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
