Sales and Marketing Strategy
This role leads the Sales and Marketing for the Grid Integration business unit in Singapore, responsible for achieving Order Received and Order Profitability targets overall. Key responsibilities include early marketing and lead generation, direct customer sales, and responsibility for tendering. The role is part of the core Grid Integration M&S leadership for the region and requires a strong leader to develop employee skills and performance through training and coaching.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create, plan, and implement marketing strategies for the assigned area in accordance with global marketing and sales strategy and budget.
- Produce action plans, create sales strategy, and implement strategic sales and business development initiatives in alignment with LPG sales strategy and achieve sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency.
- Define key Marketing & Sales targets in line with Division/Business Unit strategy and ensure these are achieved.
- Identify opportunities with existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determine plans for securing the opportunities.
- Develop product marketing, industry, segment marketing, and strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the relevant organization and implement coordinated marketing analyses and activities.
- Collaborate internally and oversee preparation of competitor analyses ranging from full profit and loss account (P&L) and main financial data to company profile and net sales analysis.
- Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including lead, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals, monitor, and provide reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence.
- Support the development of strong relationships with key customers, build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, and ensure efficient marketing communications.
- Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
- Take ownership of the sales processes, all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs.
- Lead the Grid Integration Sales and Marketing team, including develop employee skills and performance through training and coaching, hiring, training, and develop new employees to meet organizational need, and provide feedback on employee performance, help to develop employee skills where needed, and addressing performance problems in consultation with HRBP.
