Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced engineer who can bridge software engineering and cloud operations, creating scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern DevOps principles.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern software development practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and Build Cloud Infrastructure: Designing and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure patterns on GCP using Infrastructure as Code.
  • DevOps Foundations: Guiding DevOps foundations, including CI/CD pipelines, to support microservices architecture.
  • Cloud-Native Applications: Collaborating with development teams for best practices in building, deploying, and operating cloud-native applications on serverless platforms like Cloud Run.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and repetitive operational tasks for efficiency and reliability.
  • Observability and Monitoring: Implementing and managing observability and monitoring tools for system health and performance visibility.
Requirements
  • Cloud Expertise: Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on GCP.
  • DevOps Skills: Deep expertise in building DevOps foundations and automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Microservices Architecture: Strong practical experience with microservices architectures, containerisation, and serverless compute platforms.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Automation Skills: Excellent scripting and automation skills.
