About the Role

As a Support Worker with Spinal Life Australia, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and autonomy of our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries.

  • Assist clients with daily tasks in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene.
  • Support clients with transfers, using hoists when required, and assist with basic wound care and self-medication.
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as meal preparation, light household duties, and laundry.
  • Accompany clients on community outings, including driving to appointments and social activities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Hold a current driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Be able to obtain a Blue and NDIS screening card.
  • Have a smartphone device for communication and documentation purposes.
