We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our KinCare team in Sutherland, providing essential care services to the elderly community.

About the Role

This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while enjoying guaranteed hours and shifts in the local area. As a Caregiver with KinCare, you'll be supported by our extensive paid training and culture of continuous learning, ensuring you have the skills and confidence to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and home maintenance, to enable our customers to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Deliver personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, offering peace of mind for both our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments, fostering independence and reducing reliance on others.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an integral part of the job.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with our customers and their families.
  • The ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to seek support from your Manager.
  • A flexible schedule, with availability to work at least 3 days per week (Monday to Friday).
