Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Educator to lead our Senior Toddler room at Majella Early Years Centre + Kindergarten. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality educational programs that promote children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Planning: Develop and implement engaging and inclusive programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Assistant Educator to prepare programs and promote a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Child Development and Education: Support children's growth and development, focusing on their emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs.
  • Staff Development and Support: Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the growth and well-being of the team.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or recognized equivalent.
  • Certifications: First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Working with Children: Hold a current Queensland Blue Card.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
