About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled data scientist to drive business transformation through data science. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to refine complex problems that can be solved using scientific thinking, algorithms and analytical data processing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delve into complex datasets, wrangling messy data and contributing to our shared understanding of its value.
  • Apply sound scientific methods to drive product development, including hypothesis generation, experimentation and analysis.
  • Lead in hypothesis-driven experimentation and deliver measurable impact through rigorous testing.
  • Maintain high personal coding standards and collaborate with other scientists and engineers to produce robust and reproducible code.
  • Work with engineers to maintain and operate end-to-end pipelines supporting data-intensive applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous practical experience (3+ years) in a similar analytics role.
  • Experience with data querying languages, scripting languages and/or statistical/mathematical software.
  • Bachelor's, Masters or Ph.D in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a relevant technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to grasp mathematical concepts underpinning various domains.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messages for peers and stakeholders.
