Election Day Staff Opportunities

Persolkelly is currently seeking Election Day staff to support the Western Australian Electoral Commission. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the electoral process and contribute to the smooth operation of polling places.
Job Description
The successful candidates will work in various roles, including Issuing Officer, Student Electoral Officer, Voter Information Officer, General Assistant, Ballot Box Guard, and Queue Controller. These roles are essential to the functioning of polling places on election day.
Responsibilities
- Work as an Issuing Officer, issuing ballot papers to electors and rotating through other roles such as Ballot Box Guard and Queue Controller
- Assist with the setup of polling places and pack up after polling day
- Provide voter information and assistance as required
- Maintain the integrity of the electoral process
Requirements
- Availability to work on election day, specifically 8th March 2025
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
