
Community Protection Officer

To ensure community safety and emergency preparedness, we are seeking a highly motivated Firefighter Support Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, protecting people and property from harm.
The role requires the successful completion of FNA411 Auxiliary Recruit Training and Education Program (ARTEP) or equivalent.
- Eligible to apply for, or hold a current Blue Card.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Responding to and assuming control of fire and other emergency incidents.
- Promoting community safety through contributing to community education activities.
- Assisting in the recruitment and selection of suitable firefighters.
- Contributing to core skills training and other relevant courses.
- Maintaining operational competencies.
- Operating specialist firefighting equipment safely and effectively.
- Meeting attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
- Maintaining station facilities and equipment.
- Ensuring incident reporting and general administration.
