Seeking a General Practitioner to join our team in a beautiful coastal environment. This role offers the perfect blend of work and lifestyle, with a strong focus on community health and wellbeing.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality care to patients in a family-friendly community. The successful applicant will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with registered nurses, online interpreters, and administration staff to deliver client-centred care.

The position sits within the Primary Care Directorate and will play a key role in supporting a community-designed plan for primary care services and innovative workforce solutions for the Glamorgan Spring Bay area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive assessments and developing relevant management plans
  • Conducting treatment and care in accordance with best practice and therapeutic guidelines
  • Managing urgent care presentations in a General Practice setting
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
  • Have vocational recognition through Fellowship with either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to work within a community-focused whole of population health approach
