Key Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Structural Engineer to lead and innovate in brownfield and asset maintenance projects.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide safe, reliable, and efficient technical expertise to drive project success.

This role is based in Brisbane, where you will work collaboratively with engineers and designers to deliver top-quality design solutions.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide civil and structural engineering design, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet project needs.
  • Design and analyse tanks and tank foundations to API650 standards.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges through thorough technical analyses and adherence to codes and standards.
  • Utilise software tools like Spacegass, Robot, 12D, and Civil 3D for design and analysis tasks.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members, maintaining professional relationships.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering and possess 6+ years of engineering design experience, particularly in resource, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
  • Have comprehensive experience in piling foundation design, with expertise in piled tank foundations, bulk storage tank design, and general structures & foundations.
  • Be registered as a Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ qualified.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
