Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Consultant to join our Brisbane office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking planning analysis and research, managing projects, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning analysis and research to deliver exceptional results
- Manage projects without direct supervision
- Liaise with clients, councils, consultants, and other government agencies
- Compile statutory approval and permit DA's and major project packages
- Work across multi-disciplinary projects within a consulting environment
- Business development and high-level client relationship management
Requirements
- A degree in town planning (Bachelors minimum, Masters advantageous)
- 8-15 years of working experience within a consulting business with direct experience in town planning, property, and development
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work across multiple sectors (Infrastructure, Commercial, Health, Renewables, and Energy Transition) and on interstate projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function effectively within a friendly, supportive, and high-performing team
