About the Role

As a seasoned Clinical/Health Psychologist within Central Adelaide Local Health Network, you will be responsible for providing specialized psychological care to adults managing chronic heart failure. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting thorough assessments and designing tailored intervention programs to address heart failure-related psychological challenges.

This leadership position requires a deep understanding of chronic disease management, as well as exceptional clinical skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams. You will play a key role in planning, delivering, and evaluating the Chronic Heart Failure Psychology Service, ensuring that each patient receives evidence-based care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify patients' psychological needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Providing direct support to patients coping with heart failure-related psychological challenges through one-on-one therapy sessions and group interventions
  • Leveraging your expertise to contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives, driving innovation and advancing the service's approach to chronic heart failure management
