Chemical Processor

About this Role

At Pact Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Processor to join our team as a Compounder/Blender. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company that is committed to leading the circular economy through packaging, reuse, and recycling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Mix and/or blend bulk product components in accordance with client specifications, adhering to quality standards and production schedules.
• Gather ingredients where required, ensuring accurate and timely preparation for production.
• Prepare line filling tanks based on production schedules and filling line capacity, ensuring seamless changeovers and efficient operations.
• Take samples to the laboratory for analysis to confirm filling products meet client specifications.
• Complete appropriate documentation for quality and traceability purposes, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Operate and understand the Scada system that controls the manufacturing plant, ensuring optimal operations and minimal downtime.
• Contribute to achieving optimum WHS outcomes for the production area through a positive safety mindset and adherence to safety procedures and reporting.
• Attend workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge, and provide training to others as appropriate.
• Maintain area housekeeping, ensuring a clean and organized workspace that promotes efficiency and productivity.
• Communicate closely with the shift supervisor to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements

• A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy and quality in production.
• A forklift license, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Working or functional knowledge of SAP or any other system would be an advantage.
• Results-oriented and able to take initiative, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and communicate with stakeholders.
