Job Overview

We are seeking a recent or upcoming Occupational Therapist graduate to join our multidisciplinary team in the greater Melbourne metropolitan area. This permanent role offers a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week) position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload and provide evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to clients in schools, homes, and the broader community
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Assess clients' level of function and capacity using clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and promote independence
Requirements
  • Possess a positive, can-do approach and mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference
  • Strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
  • Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Current certified practising membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligible for the same as soon as you have completed your occupational therapy degree
