The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist to join our Maintenance team on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safety and reliability
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to these systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve the performance of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Provide technical support and training to other staff as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to advise on potential improvements
Your Background
- Electrical trade or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry
- Experience in operation and maintenance within heavy industrial environments
- Current manual driver's license
- Demonstrated knowledge of HSE principles and commitment to safety
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to work in a team
- Adaptability to changing priorities to maintain operations
- Able to work autonomously and in remote locations
- Able to work on call and attend to overtime as required
