About the Role

This is a key position within our IT team, responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our business applications systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing ERP/application layout to ensure the systems meet business needs, and customizing and configuring workflow to facilitate ERP/application integration with other applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality code to support business change requirements to applications, interfaces, and integration.
  • Ensure all development is version and configuration controlled.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and document results, with a focus on ensuring the systems meet business needs.
  • Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging.
  • Design new modules to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Test ERP/application layout to ensure the systems meet business needs.
  • Customize and configure workflow to facilitate business application systems integration with other business applications.
  • Organize, coordinate, and deliver training for users in their core areas.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in application development, application integration, web services, and support across various application systems.
  • Strong technical capabilities and understanding of database tables.
  • Strong understanding of integration and APIs.
  • Working knowledge and experience in ITIL, PMI, SDLC, Agile, RAD, and CMMI methodologies.
  • Working knowledge and experience in.NET, Java, SQL, C#, PHP, Python, and JavaScript technologies.
  • Support experience of cloud-based SaaS applications.
  • Well-developed coding skills following sound coding practices and standards.
  • Highly developed administration skills, including good attention to detail.
  • Proven record of managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Goal and action-oriented with a proven ability to deliver within specified timeframes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to form positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage the priority of many concurrent tasks.
  • Proven ability to document work and maintain records.
  • Strong sense of customer service and commitment to quality service.
Essential:
  • Tertiary degree in the field of information technology, computer science, business, or similar discipline.
  • 5 years' experience as a software developer, application integration, application support.
  • ITIL, PMI, SDLC, Agile, RAD, CMMI certifications.
  • Application-specific certifications.
