Leading Paediatric Occupational Therapist

This is a unique opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality occupational therapy services for paediatric and neonatal patients at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals.
About the Role- Develop and manage OT services across inpatient and outpatient care.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to neonates and children.
- Lead clinical improvement and service innovation.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support.
- Supervise and mentor students and junior staff.
- Assess and manage complex paediatric patients, including infants in the neonatal special care unit.
- Drive clinical quality and service improvement initiatives.
- Mentor future therapists through training and support.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient care and community well-being. This role requires excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- AHPRA Registration.
- Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in the assessment and management of complex paediatric patients.
- Up-to-date knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and intervention in these areas.
