Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nursing Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our donors through their donation process.

As a Nursing Assistant, your duties will include greeting and interviewing potential donors, creating a positive donor experience, completing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests, setting up machines and collections equipment, inserting and removing needles safely, monitoring donors post-donation, and assisting them with rebooking their next donation.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. You will work collaboratively to achieve collection targets and support a fantastic team culture. Additionally, you will be required to be comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials, occasionally lift between 9-22.7 kg, frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products, and be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts.
