Platform Leadership Opportunity

The Internet Presence platform is a mission-critical capability that enables product teams to safely and securely expose APIs and applications to the internet. As an Associate Director, you will play a vital role in leading its engineering and operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Direction: Lead the product strategy, engineering, and operations of the Internet Presence platform.
  • Customer Partnership: Partner with internal customers – developers, product teams, and engineering leaders – to understand their needs and improve their experience.
  • Security and Innovation: Drive adoption of modern, secure-by-design practices across internet-facing applications and APIs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify processes and amplify value through automation and modern technologies.
  • Product Mindset: Apply a product mindset to platform evolution, balancing customer needs, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Cyber, Digital, and IT to align on priorities and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Lead, or Principal Engineer.
  • API and Security Knowledge: Strong technical competency in APIs, WAFs, API Gateways, and secure engineering practices.
  • Security Frameworks: Familiarity with risk and control frameworks such as CIS or NIST, and the ability to communicate security considerations clearly.
  • Product Thinking: A passion for product thinking, with a focus on building sustainable, scalable, and secure platforms.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
