Contract Manager

The role of a contract management specialist is pivotal in the success of numerous projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with client contracts throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee project initiation, procurement, delivery and project closeout
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare and submit progress claims to clients
- Manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments
- Monitor commissioning activities including documentation
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
- Maintain registers that track and substantiate commercial positions
- Contribute to commercial strategies and drive commercial outcomes
About You:
- Understanding of contractual risks and opportunities
- Sound knowledge of project administration and control
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Positive negotiation, conflict resolution and influencing skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
