Job Opportunity

Hospital Medical Officer - Clinical Management

To provide effective supervised day-to-day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients, included but not limited to assessment, admission, management, and discharge.

  • Clinical Management: To reliably assess urgent patients and non-urgent patients within 30 minutes and two hours respectively of the request.
  • Patient Management: Satisfactory performance, under supervision, of procedures relevant to patient care, including venepuncture, taking arterial blood gases, IV cannula insertion, fluid management, pain management, and end-of-life decision making.

This role provides opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive team environment with access to ongoing training and education. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements:

  • Completion of an Australian medical degree or equivalent qualification
