We are seeking a highly skilled Coffee Connoisseur to join our dynamic team. As a Casual Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating an engaging experience for our patrons.

About the Role:

  • Welcoming customers and providing them with top-notch service
  • Preparing and serving outstanding hot/cold beverages
  • Utilizing your expertise to ensure the best customer experience
  • Ensuring equipment, machines, and utensils are clean and sanitized regularly
  • Assisting with general duties, including opening/closing the outlet, setup, accurate order taking, cash handling, serving food, cleaning, and supporting the team
  • Selling the benefits of our rewards membership to customers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience working with commercial coffee machines in a high-volume environment
  • Minimum 1 year's demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused food environment
  • Minimum 1 year's experience using touch screen point-of-sale systems in a retail or food and beverage environment
  • An infectious positive, flexible, hardworking attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A love of coffee and great food

The Pay:

$31.40 per hour + 12% Superannuation

HOURS OF WORK:

We have several positions with varying hours and locations, perfect for students. We don't do weekends, so all shifts are Monday - Friday. You must be available to work a minimum of 3-4 shifts a week, each shift consists of a minimum of 5 hours.

START DATE:

Successful applicants will be required to attend a compulsory induction on [insert date] at 9am to 1pm.
