Truck Tyre Fitter Job in Darwin, Northern Territory

We are seeking a skilled Truck Tyre Technician to join our team at Complete Tyre Solutions (CTS People) in Darwin. As a leading fleet management specialist, we provide 24/7 breakdown assistance across Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory.

Job Summary:
  • Fitting truck tyres with various sizes
  • Conducting tyre diagnostics, including condition, pressure, and tread depth checks
  • Performing wheel balance, alignment, and rotation adjustments

To succeed in this role, you will require strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills. You must be physically fit and able to work independently as part of a team. A Certificate Two in Light and Heavy Tyre Fitting is desirable, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fitting truck tyres, crane tyres, and OTR vehicle tyres
  2. Conducting tyre diagnostics, including checking condition, pressure, and tread depth
  3. Performing wheel balance, alignment, and rotation adjustments
  4. Inflating and maintaining vehicle tyres
  5. Assisting customers in choosing the right products for their needs
  6. Preparing quotes and invoices
  7. Keeping work areas clean and tools in top condition
  8. Adhering to all safety standards and procedures
Salary and Benefits:

Based on industry standards and the location, the estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $80,000 - $120,000 AUD. In addition to your salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including opportunities for upskilling and accredited training across various skill sets.
